We offer appointments at our main Bloom Street site & our branch site;
New Jackson Medical Centre, 141 Chester Road, M15 4AF
The medical centre’s shared by three GP practices; The Docs, Cornbrook Medical Practice & Vallance Medical.
Patients registered at Cornbrook Medical Practice or Vallance Medical should contact their own surgery for any queries.
Two independent providers also have clinics there;
- Ultrasound scanning, provided by Yorkshire Health Solutions
- Community Dermatology, provided by About Health

The reception desk is staffed by NHS Property Services.
We have no admin staff on-site, so queries from patients registered at The Docs should be submitted in the usual ways;

- call us on 0161 237 9490
- come in to our main site at Bloom Street
You’ll be notified which site to attend when booking appointments, & can request appointments at either.
The entrance to New Jackson Medical Centre is on the Chester Road side of the building. There’s a ramp for wheelchair & pushchair access.
The free number 1 bus runs every 10 minutes from Piccadilly Station via Portland Street to Deansgate Station, & is a convenient way to get there from the city centre.
There’s a public car park behind the building, with parking available from £2.50 for 1 hour.
